Engaged 30 April 2006
To be Married 4 July 2007
Their story

SFC Faith C. Middleton and SFC William C.
Dickey, of the United States Army first met at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin
September 2003 while attending school. Will invited Faith to join
him at a picnic table. Faith tells us, "It was NOT love at first
sight, but you know what they say - opposites attract". And that
they did! They have already shown the ability to endure a long
distance relationship. Their courtship took place while Faith
resided in Virginia and Will in Michigan. The couple decided they
needed a change, and Will took Faith up on her offer to relocate.

And the romance began....Will took Faith
on her very first cruise to the Bahamas 26 April 2006. the couple
had talked about marriage in the past, but the events that followed
during their romantic cruise took Faith completely by surprise.
They were sitting enjoying the Grand Finale Show aboard the ship when
the Cruise Director ask them both on stage. Faith thought they had
won some grand prize, until Will got down on one knee - in front of the
whole audience and proposed. That was 30 April and she has been
planning their big day ever since.

Will and Faith will hold their Formal
Ceremony on 4 July 2007 at Fort Story Club, Virginia Beach, Virginia.
they have planned a romantic evening wedding, beachfront starting at
8:00 pm. In attendance will be the Color Guard and Drill Team.
Will and Faith will enjoy the traditional pass through The Arch of
Sabers.

We asked the Faith and Will what they
might face being a dual Military career couple? They replied,
"Most likely we will have to move, but we are prepared to face whatever
challenges this marriage brings".

The couple has not set their honeymoon
plans in stone just yet, but they have decided on somewhere laidback and
tropical. Maybe the Caribbean, Grand Cayman, Aruba or a Mexican
destination. They also desire somewhere exotic like Tahiti, Bora
Bora or even Fiji. They have asked all of us to help them decide,

In closing Will would like to share this
with you. "I want the world to see what a beautiful, talented,
smart, fantastic and sometimes crazy woman I have decided to spend an
eternity with. This lady has not only given me the opportunity to
be in her life, but to be in my new children's lives as well and I
pledge to her to be the best husband, father and mentor I can be.
The joining of our two families (William, Faith, Tiffany, Jacquain,
Machay, Shondell, Jocelyn and last but certainly no least Joseph) is not
only a welcomed challenge and adventure, but a privilege. I truly
look forward to this journey Faith and I have ahead.
