Invitation Etiquette & Protocol
The Military Engagement Announcement, Bridal Shower or Wedding Invitation is similar to the Civilian Invitations or Announcements.  The main difference will be in how Military personnel is addressed.

Etiquette - Never abbreviate an Officer or Commanders title.  i.e. Lieutenant Colonel should never read LTC, same for all rank and service branch.  US (branch) Army should read United States Army (or the appropriate branch of service).
