We are searching for couples that would like to have their Wedding Featured within our site and Print Magazine.
What we are looking for. We want to share your story with our readers. From the Engagement to the happy couple leaving for their Honeymoon! (and of course a follow up of your spectacular Honeymoon).
We love to write about weddings that have taken place within the past 5 years (post 9/11) or that will be taking place in the near future and publish Real Military Weddings in print and online. If your wedding has taken place prior to 2001 you will be featured in our Tribute to the Military Marriage section, we especially would love War Bride stories and photos. To have your wedding considered, you or your photographer can send color photocopies of a sampling of photographed images to Military Weddings, Attn: GR Rogers; 1519 W. Fort St., Boise, ID 83702.
We also accept low-resolution .jpg files and links to web
galleries passwords to download photos must be supplied. Indicate your
image choice and numbers and send this info to
mywedding@cableone.net. Please include
the location of your wedding in the subject line. Mark all submissions
with your name, email, telephone number, the date you were married, and
the city and state where the wedding took place, along with your
photographer's contact information. If you are submitting engagement
photos please include when you are to be married, the location you have
chosen and a short story of how the happy couple met. Please remember
the
OPSEC
rules when sending any information, i.e. if your spouse or soon to be
spouse is deployed – just the basics no vital information.
In the event your are submitting Engagement photos; We would like to stay in contact and interview them during the wedding planning stage. We realize that only one may be available during this time due to deployments. We will work around your schedule!
Even if you are not going to have a Military Style Wedding we would still enjoy your story. As a tribute to our Troops! Please send in an Engagement Photo and short story of how you met, the engagement and your tentative wedding plans. We will post them here! Past Military Weddings.. Although we can not cover them for a part of our magazine we can and would like to share them here within our site. We will be adding a Tribute to Past Military Weddings within the magazine in the near future and would love to share you photo and story there as well!
