Their Story....

Maria says it was "Love at first Sight"!  Maria and Brad first met online back in 1994, while Brad was already deployed to Iraq.  It all started when she was working nights at the local hospital as a Pharmacist, bored she thought she would just jump onto Yahoo and see if there were others out there to chat.  It was morning in Iraq and Brad just happened to be online.  What started out to be just a get to know you and for fun chat ended with daily messaging when Brad would get off shift.  Things began as innocent friends chatting and turned into that one phone call from a war zone that would change the lives of both Brad and Maria.  Brad told Maria that after that first phone call he could not stop thinking about her, Maria on the other hand was still slightly skeptical "you know it was an online relationship".  Finally and luckily, they decided to meet when Brad received his R&R.  Maria at the time was in Houston and Brad wanted to come there to see her, she suggested she meet him where he was going to be.  That way Brad could also visit with his family while in the States.  Maria says it was "Love at first Sight", and likewise for Brad.  After Maria left, he told his mom that she was "the one".  Seven months later, they were married.  The happy couple is now going on their second year together with many more to follow.
